3...2...1...Take-off!

Hello romance readers, geeks, geeky romance readers, romancy reader geeks, etc.!

I’m Deanna, and I write romance for the geek in all of us. And I just wanted to say hi.

Hi.

I’m currently in edits for my first book, Critical Hit-On, which I hope to have out this summer. More on this as it gets closer, but for now, here’s a primitive blurb.

Roll for attraction…

Molly Moreau used to be a geek with the best of them—rpgs, mmorpgs, trading cards—the works. When she found her long-time boyfriend in a dark corner with a girl dressed as Lara “boobs and guns” Croft, though, that was it for the relationship and for her geekiness. After moving back home, she got a job at a normal bar and grill with normal people to live a normal life. That is until Craig shows up with his friends and D and D character sheets.

Craig Lawrence has been rolling 1s on the relationship front ever since his last girlfriend broke up with him because he apparently spent too much time playing guardian to his rebellious little sister. When he meets Molly, he wants more than anything to win her heart, and this time he’ll do anything to keep his family problems from interfering.

Can they score a critical hit on this relationship?

Again, more on that later.

In the meantime, check back here on Thursdays for geek/romance/geeky romance news.

Geek on, Deanna

“I’m a geek. I write romance. Allegedly, I write geek romance.”

Deanna Dee is strictly human and does not, to her knowledge, own a hyena. She lives by the sea and spends as much time as possible at the beach—swimming, not sunning. Star Wars, LOTR, and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (among other things) make up the shameless downtime of her life. The rest of it is writing, and she’s okay with that.
