Wondrous Words Wednesday 5-6-15

Welcome to this week’s Wondrous Words Wednesday, hosted by The Bermuda Onion.

Here’s how it works. Find a new word(s)? Blog about it/them and then link up at the host blog.

Here are my words for the week.

Wend – to move from one place to another (I have heard this before, but I never gave it much thought. I included it this week because I love the sound of the word.)

Soma - an intoxicating juice from a plant of disputed identity that was used in ancient India as an offering to the gods and as a drink of immortality by worshippers in Vedic ritual and worshipped in personified form as a Vedic god

Codswallop – nonsense (British)

  1. I saw a reference to a wending path in a recent read and thought it was a misprint or typo. Well, I guess not! Glad you helped me clear up that misconception.
