Waiting on Wednesday: TRAGEDY OF THE SITH'S REVENGE and THE BUCCANEERS' CODE

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

~I have two this week because I couldn’t decide which one I’m more excited about.

>WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE’S TRAGEDY OF THE SITH’S REVENGE
by Ian Doescher

The curtain rises once again on that star-crossed galaxy far, faraway—this time, to chronicle a once-heroic knight’s transformation into the darkest of villains. William Shakespeare’s Tragedy of the Sith’s Revenge is the climactic conclusion to the fall of the house of Skywalker, a collaboration between William Shakespeare and George Lucas that’s filled with masterful meter, stirring soliloquies, inside jokes, and intricate Elizabethan illustrations. You’ll fall in love with Star Wars—and Shakespeare—all over again. At the same time!

~I absolutely love this series. It’s Star Wars and Shakespeare. Where can one go wrong here?

>THE BUCCANEER’S CODE
by Caroline Carlson

When Miss Pimm, Enchantress of the Northlands, decides to retire, she enlists young Hilary Westfield to gather a band of scallywags and prepare to challenge Captain Blacktooth in an all-out battle for the presidency of the League in order to save the kingdom.

~This series is freaking adorable and so much fun! Plus, it has a talking gargoyle.

Geek on,
Deanna
